Dr. Syed Ali Abbas Kazmi is a Assistant Professor at US-Pakistan Centre of Advanced Studies in Energy (USPCASE) NUST. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in electrical power engineering from Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea. His research interests include electrical power engineering, voltage stability, power stability studies, distributed generation, smart grids, smart distribution networks, power system optimization, power system planning, power system scheduling, microgrids, multi-microgrids, virtual power plants, smart distribution networks, power stability studies, power quality with FACT devices, wind and photovoltaic based energy systems.
